Why Playvana?

I’ve spent many years working as a game designer.  During this time, I’ve discovered that everyone has a game idea.  Everyone. People who have never played any computer games other than Solitaire have game ideas.  People who claim to hate video games and everything they stand for have game ideas.

I’ll be the first person to say that not all of these ideas are mind-bendingly awesome.  However, even the lumpiest grimiest bit of coal has the potential to become a diamond. If someone is excited about a game idea, then there must be something they see — something that maybe isn’t obvious to the person they are explaining it to.

At Playvana, we know what a good game is.  More importantly, we know what it takes to turn coal into diamonds.

We are all about dream fulfillment.  We help people with exactly what they need to complete their game projects and do so in a personalized way unique to each project and each individual.  Games are a powerful interactive medium with huge as yet unexplored potential, and there is room for everyone’s visions.  Sometimes all you need is a friendly guide to help you chart this unknown territory.

Which brings us back to the original question.  Why Playvana?  We like helping people.  We love games.  And one of our favorite things in the world is that look people get when they suddenly realize that  their “Impossible Dream” is possible after all.
